I love dessert breads. A cup of coffee and a slice of zesty citrus bread with just the right amount of glaze and slivered almonds is such a treat! I have a significant sweet tooth so this is not just an after dinner dessert for me, but an indulgent breakfast too. It is also a good way to impress friends and neighbors at holidays or be queen of the bake sale at your child’s school. Either way, you are going to love this recipe for years to come. Heck, call it your own secret recipe and pass it down to the kids when they’re grown. (I won’t tell a soul.)
