Lemon Garlic Shrimp Low Calorie and High Protein Recipe

Dieting does not mean compromising taste. When I diet I love to eat shrimp for the low calories combined with high protein. Adding some bold and hot spices make shrimp a hearty meal that satisfies. This is an easy recipe with big flavor. Pair with whole grain rice and your favorite veggies for a complete, healthy meal. Use the leftovers to toss on a salad for lunch the next day. This recipe is also great because it is so low in calories, you can eat more and feel full. I know you will add this to your go-to diet menu.

Lemon Garlic Shrimp 

Ingredients: 

16-20 large shrimp, cleaned 

3 garlic cloves, minced 

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes 

2 teaspoons seafood seasoning 

Salt & pepper to taste 

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 teaspoons dry parsley 

Zest of 1 lemon 

Preparation Instructions:

In a skillet, over medium heat, cook the shrimp, garlic, and red pepper flakes for about 2 minutes.

Add seafood seasoning and salt & pepper, cook for 3-5 minutes .

Add lemon juice, reduce to low heat.

Add parsley and lemon zest.
