What can you get someone who seems to have everything that they want or need? It’s tricky when you encounter someone like this as it can leave you feeling super stuck as to what you should purchase. But, there are a few different options that you can consider, as well as others if you don’t like any of the ones we’re about to give you. At the very least, they give you an idea of where to start and that should be helpful for some inspiration. So, let’s get into some of the options we would recommend.
A Gift Card (It’s Not Lazy!)
If you really can’t think of something to get, then why not just get them a gift card for the budget that you set for the occasion for them? This way, they can purchase something themselves, something that they would like, and there is no guess work involved.
Some people seem to say that this is lazy present buying, but we don’t see why. There’s nothing wrong with allowing someone to pick their own gift, as it’s very similar to asking someone what they want, and just purchasing what they ask for. The only difference is, you’ve let them directly choose and order it themselves with a gift card, which some people much prefer to be honest.
Something They Won’t Purchase Themselves
There may be some items that you know they would like, but they won’t want to purchase themselves. This could be because they feel as though they can’t spend money on something like that, because it doesn’t fit into their budget and so on. It doesn’t matter what the reason is to be honest, if you know that there is something they would like, but they would never purchase it for themselves, then it’s a fantastic gift, and one that they would love to receive.
A Personal Gift
Lastly, if you feel the recipient already has everything and your gift won’t be appreciated then how about getting them something a bit more personal. Personal gifts are often kept around while some of the others might find their way to the bin eventually. Nobody wants to throw items away but with all the birthdays and special occasions throughout the year, homes would end up cluttered if we didn’t.
Take a look online at what you could get, this will give you a few different ideas. Something like a personalized piece of jewelry or a candle might be nice. You can get your hands on fingerprint jewelry if they have children. This is something that will be treasured. Alternatively, you could give them something containing their family crest.
