Are you planning on getting married soon? If so, this post could help. In it, we answer all your most burning wedding questions. Check them out below:

Does A Wedding Need A Dress Code?

Whether a wedding needs a dress code depends on you and your wedding’s theme. Ideally, you should include dress expectations on the invitation (if there are any). Don’t be cryptic. Instead, keep it simple, such as “black tie only.”

The vast majority of weddings should have a dress code, even non-standard ones. For instance, if you’re getting married on top of a mountain, you might want to tell guests that “hiking boots are advised.”

Do I Need To Provide Guests With A Menu Of Options?

Because of dietary requirements and other issues, it’s a good idea to provide your guests with a menu of options, particularly for the entree. Make sure that you cover all the usual dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.

In some cultures, you might be able to get away with a set menu, but you should make it as varied as possible. Make sure that people have multiple options to choose from, just in case they don’t like something.

Whether you provide guests with welcome bags is entirely up to you. Favors are a nice touch, but not essential, particularly if you are going to town on the food, venue, and entertainment. However, if you do decide to do favors, try to prioritize giving guests something edible. That’ll keep them happy while they wait for the wedding breakfast.

How Can I Get Money Off My Wedding?

It’s no secret that weddings can be expensive. For many, they cost more than a year’s worth of disposable income.

The trick here is to cut corners in the right way. For instance, many venues will charge you by the hour. Therefore, think carefully about how long your wedding will take, and how long guests will want to stick around. If the venue offers eight hours, work out whether you could finish everything in six. The savings are often considerable.

You could also try offering more budget-friendly catering options. While guests might love to tuck into a filet steak, it’s going to cost you, particularly if you provide these meals at scale.

Cheaper options include pasta, bean, or potato dishes. Caterers can prepare these in bulk, saving you a small fortune in the process.

Where Do You Wear Your Wedding Rings?

How do you wear your wedding rings is one of the most common questions that spouses-to-be ask. The answer really depends on you. While there are standard ways of doing it, it varies from culture to culture (and which finger you wear your rings on).

Lastly, you’ll want to check the details around your venue. They are often quite specific about what you qualify for, and what you don’t. Take a closer look at the fine print. Are there additional charges for things like valet parking or coat checks? In many cases, you’ll have to pay a service charge for additional services that the venue offers guests.
