Need a fast, fun and easy craft to do with kids of many age levels? This one will do nicely and you probably have all the supplies that you need already at home! Put the supplies on the table with the kids and let them spend some fun time together making paper turkeys and memories.
Supplies:
- printer
- white printer paper
- scissors
- glue stick
- colored construction paper
- pens or pencils
What to do:
Step 1. Print out as many turkeys as you need here. . .
*Drag and drop this pic to your desktop and then again to word. Size and print!
Step 2. Have kids color and cut out the turkey.
Step 3. Cut tail feathers from the colored paper.
Step 4. Glue six “feathers” to the back of the turkey.
Step 5. Using the pen or pencil, write the letters T-H-A-N-K-S one at the top of each feather.
Step 6. Let kids think of words that begin with each letter that remind them of the Thanksgiving holiday.
This is one of my favorites:
T – Thanksgiving (makes me)
H – Happy
A – and (its)
N – Nice (to)
K – Know (that family is here to make me)
S – Smile
Happy Thanksgiving!
