Hello dapper people!
I found some great frames at Michaels that I really liked. These frames had great depth in the wood and were already distressed (saving me lots of time not having to start from scratch and do it myself)…so eventhough they were not a HUGE bargain, they were on sale and I wanted to transform them!!
I picked out 3 of different sizes, took them home and went to work looking through my treasures and trying out various ideas until I came up with these….
The first frame that says “Families” measures 11 ½ x 13 ½ inches on the outside and
9 ½ x 7 ½ on the inside. I attached a tarnished antique locket with beautiful scroll designs
hanging down that can hold another two, smaller pictures, 1 ¼ x ¾ of an inch.
Awesome right?!?! It hangs from part of an antique pearl necklace. The frame is adorned as the others with screws and wire to hold the signs, and a handmade vintage look flower in a bottle cap with old fashioned button.
The second frame “are” measures 7 ½ square on the outside and 3 ½ square on the inside.
It has the same coordinating design with its own unique character in a bit of a strand of antique black beaded necklace and a French paper-backed clear button with the word “TEMPLE” among others.
The third frame in the series is “Forever”. It has a black string down the side with old fashioned buttons and a silver cross. This frame measures 10 ½ x 8 ½ on the outside and 5 ½ x 6 ½ on the inside.
Gorgeous Set. Heavy, durable wood. Keepsake Item. LOVE IT! (If I do say so myself) 🙂
