This is one of our house favorite oven chicken casserole recipes.
It has simple ingredients. It is quick to prepare.
It takes one hour to bake. It is rich and creamy.
It has the vegetables, protein and carbs for a balanced meal.
It is great for dinners and potlucks.
This “secret” recipe was past on from
my Mother In Law. My husband loved it as a child
and now my own sons beg for this meal.
Since my little one had to go (against his will) to soccer
practice in the pouring rain and 45 degree weather tonight,
I decided to make his favorite meal “Chicken Devin” and surprise
him when he gets home. This will warm his chilly bones and his mood!
I always make a double recipe that fills a 10 x 16 baking pan so that
we have leftovers for the next day or two.
(Yes, it is that good)
In the baking pan add:
2 cups of your favorite brand of Mayonnaise
2 cups of your favorite Sour Cream
and
2 cans of your favorite
Cream of Chicken or Mushroom Soup
 then
Add 2 tsp of your favorite Chicken Seasoning
OR
2 chicken bouillon cube mixed in 1 cup of water.
MIX Together
Add 4-6 Cubed, Raw Chicken Breasts

and
1-2 bags of Thawed from frozen Broccoli
MIX Together
Cover with Foil
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
Remove Foil
Bake 20 minutes
Remove Dish from oven and
Cover with Shredded Jack & Cheddar Cheese
Bake 10 more minutes uncovered.
Let Cool while you make a pot of rice.
(while my son is getting a shower and pajamas)
Sauce will thicken and will still be hot.
Serve Over Rice!
Grind a little Pepper on top if you Like
(The Deliciousness Comes form
lots and lots of Amazing Fat Calories!)
YUM!
Right when he came in the door,
my son smelled it cooking and shouted
“YEA – Chicken Devin!”
He was very happy to have a full, warm belly
(I love this meal too, but I make a small baking dish of
Broccoli Devin – without the meat)
