Strawberry Pretzel Salad
Ingredients:
2 cups crushed pretzels
3 Tablespoons + 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 or 1 stick of melted margarine
8 oz. cream cheese (I use low fat, NOT fat free)
8 oz. low fat cool whip ( I used sugar free, fat free)
6 oz. package of sugar free, fat free strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
20 oz. frozen strawberries (exact amount)
Preparation:
Mix the pretzels, 3 Tablespoons of sugar, and melted margarine together.
Next, Press this mixture in the bottom of a 9 X 13 dish which becomes your crust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and let cool.
Cream your softened cream cheese and beat in 1/2 cup sugar and fold in the cool whip.
Pour this mixture over the crust after it has cooled and stick it in the fridge to chill.
Dissolve your jello in the boiling water, add thawed strawberries,
pour on top of cheese layer and chill.

I LOVE eating desserts! I recommend that you make them when you have company coming, so you’ll be sharing and not eating it ALL yourself!
Enjoy,
