Thirteen years have past since 9-11 but for most people it feels like it was yesterday. The feelings and memories from that day in 2001 come rushing back with an intensity that is hard to forget. Today is a day to remember, not for website numbers or blog post hits, but out of respect for our country. Here is a link to a good article by Scholastic that was written for children. 9-11 happened a year before my youngest son was born. Historic and kid-friendly articles like this help him understand what happened and why we solemnly respect this day. You can share it with your child if you wish.  Bless America. United We Stand.
