My family likes meatloaf once in awhile, but I don’t like that it takes so long to bake. This is a family favorite recipe for ground beef meatloaf that instead of baking in the oven, you fry it on the stove.  My guys like it better this way with a crispy outside and I like that it cuts the time down considerably. It is a traditional family recipe with a twist that can be served with all your favorite comfort side dishes like potatoes (mashed, fried, baked), stuffing, bread or rolls, any cooked vegetables, and more. The next day use the left overs for sandwiches on buns with hamburger fixins. There IS a Secret Ingredient that cannot be substituted. You will find it in italics below. Enjoy.
List of Ingredients:
Approx. a pound and a half of ground beef
1 large egg
1 cup breadcrumbs
a little less than 1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp of your favorite seasoning salt
half a tsp of ground pepper
2 tablespoon of County Bob’s All Purpose Sauce
(a taste all its own that can not be substituted or my family will notice)
1 chopped onion & half a red bell pepper
chopped and sauteed
Add all ingredients above into a bowl and mix well.
Shape into a loaf.
Sprinkle with Parsley flakes & cut into Slices.
Place one at a time into a pan with cooking oil on Med-High

Let the bottoms fry to barely brown then cover with a lid . . .

checking frequently until the meat is just about cooked through . . .

Then remove lid and flip the meat loaf slices so they brown
on the other side and finish cooking.

Repeat until all slices are cooked.

Serve with your favorite sides!

Mmmm.
Fried Meatloaf with extra Country Bob’s Sauce
and Baked Potato with Cheese.

The next day . . . leftovers!
Meatloaf sandwiches for lunch with lots of
Country Bobs All Purpose Sauce!
And while my family is eating this, I am having a delicious vegetarian burger.
I love eating Country Bob’s on my cooked from frozen veggie patties
because it turns the bland into a hearty, zesty meal!
