Is there anything worse than feeling bored? You have time on your hands but nothing to do with it. Well, your boredom is about to be cured, as here is a list of plenty of suggestions to help you get out of the slump you find yourself in.

  • Cook for a loved one – Why not cook a special meal for someone you love? Or, spend some time looking for recipes that you can cook in the future.
  • Leave reviews online – Reviews are incredibly helpful for other people that were once in your position, considering a certain product or looking for somewhere special to go for dinner. So, why not leave some feedback to help them out? It will also help the businesses you have enjoyed, and you can earn rewards for reviews on some websites too.
  • Make something – Why not try your hand at a bit of crafting? There are plenty of DIY and craft suggestions on my website to help you get started.
  • Play a game – Whether it is on your mobile phone or a board game, find something that appeals to you.
  • Watch some anime – If you have never watched this type of television before, now is a good time to try watching some anime. You may think that this is not the sort of television for you, but if you don’t try, you won’t know!
  • Practice yoga – A lot of people assume that you need to be flexible to do yoga, but it is for anyone. It does not matter how old you are or how flexible you are. Why not watch a yoga video online and try some exercises in your home?
  • Learn a new skill – Learn something new, for example, how to give a foot massage.
  • Go through your photos on your phone – Most people have way too many photos on the phone, which are clogging up their memory. Sound familiar? If so, it is time to go through and delete the ones you don’t need.
  • Clean your makeup brushes – Let’s face it; most of us use our makeup brushes without cleaning them for way too long.
  • Make a cocktail – Research how to make one of your favourite cocktails and give it a go.
  • Update your personal budget – This may not be the most exciting thing in the world, but it is probably something that needs doing.
  • Read a book – This is something that will keep you occupied for hours on end.
  • Do something you have been putting off for months – This could be clearing out your kitchen cupboards or emailing an old friend.
  • Write a journal – Last but not least, why not write a journal? This is a good way to de-stress after a hard day.

So there you have it: some of the best things to do if you are feeling bored. Hopefully, you will have found something on the list that appeals to you. Why not try something new? You never know, you may enjoy it!
